Scythe Blades

The Schroeckenfux grass scythe blades that we sell are well suited to the high silicon content of the Australian native grasses as well as the softer imported grasses. We have asked for a stone tip to be added to all of our grass blades so that when scything properly, i.e. in an arc with the blade slicing through the grass, if your grass is hiding a rock, a bit of wire or a star picket, you’ll hit the obstacle with the stone tip and thus better protect your blade.

We also have a bush blade for tougher grasses and weeds, and a blackberry blade for the woody weeds like older blackberry canes or lantana.
