Picard Scythe Anvil

This anvil is specially shaped for peening scythe blades. It is a superb quality narrow-faced anvil for freehand peening and edge repair. For those used to blacksmith’s anvils, this is a very small anvil indeed. For those of us lucky enough to have a blacksmith’s or farrier’s anvil, this anvil fits into the hardy hole of the large anvils. For everyone else, you’ll need to get a solid block of wood at seating height with a hole drilled in to hold the anvil.
